Being a school teacher for 20+ years, I loved bringing out the best in people's visions and abilities. In addition, I thoroughly enjoyed hosting specific events that showcased the talent of each student. I've taken that same boundless energy for the arts and host a successful Facebook page that celebrates artists' work from around the world. I seek out artists to do online live interviews to honor their work in front of a live audience. I love the thrill of when the artists and fans make connections during the event. When the artist knows that they are truly supported there's a sense of energy that's quite infectious. Due to the success of these special events, I feel inspired to become an independent event promoter. I'm passionate about the impact of my work on the art world.

TESTIMONIALS

"H.I. Art hosted a Listening Party for The Frank and Walters which was a hugely enjoyable experience. William and his team brought great energy and enthusiasm to every element of the party from the promotion, to the tech rehearsal to hosting the party itself. The feedback from the fans was overwhelmingly positive and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending H.I. Art to another band for a listening party."

Cian Corbett (Frank and Walters)

"So glad we decided to have H.I. Art host the listening party for my new album. Everything was super easy; William set the event up for us, created promo images for social media, handled the technology, and ran the Q&A session at the end. All ran smoothly and it was a fun way to celebrate the release."

~Dean Wareham(Galaxie 500/Luna/Dean and Britta)

"Massive thank you to H.I. Art for hosting a listening party for the launch of our album so enthusiastically. I’m a complete Luddite with technology, but William, Tami, Karyn and Stas really went out their way to explain everything, make us feel at ease and made sure it was all a breeze on the day and most of all enjoyable for us and the listeners. "

~Christian Savill (Slowdive/Beachy Head)

"William's enthusiasm for music shines like a diamond on top of a

giggling mountain of natto. Natto lovers should attempt to refrain

from eating the mountain! Plant more ears on the mountain, more ears!"

-Ian Masters, Isolated Gate, Osaka, 2023-04-26

"Working with William on our album listening party and Q&A was an absolute joy. He made the the whole process straightforward and fun. His attention to detail could not be faulted.

Williams passion for music and supporting artists was evident throughout. We look forward to talking with Dubya again and wish him well with future events!" Colan and Brian - Sun Shines Cold

"Having a conversation with William at H.I. on the edge was just different from the norm. It unearthed pastures anew from me, made me realise that I had never been asked that before". Brian Griffin(Photographer)

FAQ

How long is a campaign?

Typically a social media campaign lasts 4-8 weeks based on the piece of content, which could include an album, single, music video, e.p., painting, photography, book, performance, or movie release. Promotion can be spread out lightly or aggressively based on the package you choose.

What happens during a promotion?

During the consultation meeting, we will plan a clear content calendar & schedule posts across social media platforms, which will include Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook. Together we will select smart posting times, and curate content based on what your audience tends to connect with. I will always encourage the artist to post other content during the promotional time and stay connected to their fanbase through thoughtful posts. Every post matters!

How can you be a successful artist?

1. Keep your website updated. List those special release dates. Update your bio. Make your work current and visible. Don't forget to

2. Create an email newsletter. Do the little things to stay connected to your most loyal customers.

3. Never rule out the power of social media. Keep your posts short, snappy, and clear. Keep your content fun and energetic. Spread the word out to fans, friends, and family members, but don't bombard them.

4. Thank your fans after the event. Let them know how appreciative you were of their time, energy, and/or money. You may want to include how the experience changed you in a small or big way. Reflection and appreciation go a long way.
